What’s the difference between an FNO and an ISP?

An FNO (Fibre Network Operator) builds and maintains the physical fibre infrastructure — the cables in the ground, the ducts, and the street-level network. Think of them as the road builders.

An ISP (Internet Service Provider) is the company that sells you internet access over that infrastructure. Think of them as the transport company using the road.

Infini-fi is your ISP. We use the Vuma and Openserve fibre networks (the FNOs) to deliver your connection. This means you sign up with Infini-fi, we handle your account, billing, and support — and the FNO maintains the physical network that brings fibre to your door.
